Surfs Up!

There are quite a few surfers out this afternoon. The waves seem much cleaner, the wind has calmed down, blue skies lighting up people’s moods. All in all, a good day to be at the beach. I just wish I could go for a swim, hopefully I will be able to – sooner rather than later. Still, it was really enjoyable watching the surfers gliding through the waves like a hot knife through butter. Very pleasing to the eye, I could watch them for hours. Some particularly good surfers out today.

  2. “That’s some gnarly carnage he’s making, dude!”, hopefully I got my terminology right there but I have probably just offend the surfing race…I always want to surf but I have the balance of a two legged cat on roller skates on ice while on dry land so god only knows what I would be like out in the great blue
Nice action and beautiful as always

    • Thanks Astra. Not sure whether I’ve heard anyone say dude here, more like ‘mate’ What is it with us and animals on wheels?! ….cow on a skateboard, cat on roller skates lol. I don’t surf, I have a surfboard – but I’ve yet to actually stand up on it – well I can, on the sand that is 😉 Instead, I bodyboard, which I love and I am missing. Hopefully when my leg is sorted, I’ll get to do it again.

      • That is still much better than I. I don’t know, I know you definitely started the whole animals on wheels thing but I think I am subconsciously applying it to every animal. Any word when they leg will be sorted, you must be racking up a pretty long ‘things to do when leg is fixed’ list!
