i have been missing for a while…needed a break! Since I was last on here, a lot of things have happened, so I thought I would you fill you in. As those of you who follwed me on my 365 project know, I had a miscarriage in 2012 and I lost my way for a little while, hence me stoping my posts on here. I needed time out.
After an incredible, much needed holiday in Fiji, I was able to recharge my batteries and find myself again. On Chrsitmas Day 2012, my partner of 7 and a half years proposed to me, so I am now engaged!
I am also very pleased to announce that I am expecting again! :-)
Oh and some more good news….I am going to have my first solo exhibition, which will be for 3 months in Sydney!
I hope all of my followers are keeping well. I plan on adding some new photographs here shortly. X
Apologies for not posting for a little while, but it’s been for a good reason, as I am currently busy setting up my photography company…, registering my business, creating a business plan, buying a new Apple computer, designing a logo and many more things! It’s really happening! :-)
I hope to have my website ready to go live soon…stay tuned.
On another positive note, I am intending on starting my 2nd 365 project next Wednesday 25th March. I will be going away for a few days then, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to start it, plus I’ve had a little break from taking photographs, so I will be recharged and ready as ever.
This shot was taken towards the end of last year, on the mid North Coast of NSW Australia.
I love kookaburras, they make me smile, I love their call….for it sounds more like a monkey than it does a bird song.
This shot was taken in Sydney a couple of months go. Do you remember a shot I took of a kookaburra with the light on its wings, staring out across Sydney Harbour, looking across to the City? Well, this was the same beautiful bird. Haven’t they got beautiful eyes!
